DRESS AND PERSONAL APPEARANCE Click here for the uniform and appearance code

High standards of personal appearance are expected and School Uniform is essential.  Failure to wear the correct uniform is a serious matter and may result in internal exclusion (removal from lessons).

Clear guidelines concerning uniform and personal appearance, including jewellery and hairstyles, are outlined in the Uniform and Appearance Code.  The School Governors expect pupils to follow the guidelines and we must all strive to portray a positive image of ourselves and our school.

Parental support in these matters is greatly appreciated and, if in doubt, a telephone call to school is always recommended before any expense is entered into.

All personal property is the responsibility of the pupil concerned.  The school cannot accept responsibility for any loss.  ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE OWNERÕS NAME.

We strongly recommend the purchase of a sensible, plain top coat or the school fleece.

A grant towards the cost of school uniform is available to children who are starting secondary school whose parents are currently in receipt of either Income Support, Income-Based Job SeekerÕs Allowance or Child Tax Credit.  Details and application forms are available from the Benefits Team, Education Department, Shire Hall, Gloucester, GL1 2TP.  ( 01452 425435
